Axios Charlotte reports: Heron House Mahjong announced a June 10 soft opening in a 3,000-square-foot Dilworth home, followed by grand-opening events later that month. The studio starts with 52 seats across themed rooms, lessons called Flight School, memberships, events, and a boutique.

Co-founder Charolette Obringer’s father makes its wooden racks, with some proceeds designated for research. The business also plans a signature tile set.

The feature documents custom tables, wallpaper, retail displays, and the house exterior.
