Four Winds Lounge is planning a November 1, 2026, opening at Bayshore, adding a dedicated venue to Milwaukee’s growing Mahjong scene. OnMilwaukee reported the plan on October 27.
Owners Kitty Gaenslen, Maria Fenske and Amy Lukas describe a comfortable space with instruction, open play, tiles and accessories, plus coffee, tea and snacks. The feature also profiles MKE Mahjong Social Group and You Can Do It Social Group, which bring games to restaurants, bars and libraries.
The wider story includes American, Hong Kong and Taiwanese Mahjong. Its photographs document that broader community, rather than a single ruleset. The lounge’s opening remains an announced plan as of this brief’s October 29 preparation date.
