Axios New Orleans reports: Designer and architect Kelly Walker began hosting Mahjong at home to meet friends, then launched SaintMahj as demand outgrew her living room.
The business now hosts regular pop-ups at The Chloe and Hotel Saint Vincent and has added events at Saba.
Walker describes making an initially intimidating game approachable and organizing casual social gatherings that welcome newcomers.
